DALSTON SHOW 10th August 2024

We returned for 2024 with another fantastic event, once again welcoming all our supporters, both old and new, from the local community and those who traveled from far and wide to enjoy our Show.

We experienced a strong turnout of Horse and Livestock breeders from throughout Cumbria, the North of England, and South West Scotland, alongside the many families who entered almost 200 classes in the Industrial section.

Over 80 trade stands filled the field with color as they displayed their wares for sale or promoted the work of their organizations. There was plenty to eat and drink from our various caterers and specialty bars.

Our reputation for fun entertainment was upheld with lots of activities in the Main Ring, including the Extreme Bike Battle, Terrier Racing, and the ever-popular Cumberland and Westmorland Wrestling. The day concluded with Raughton Head Young Farmers taking on their challenge for this year.

That wasn’t all, as there were also other entertainers throughout the day, including Elton Wrong, Mighty Smith, Zoobidoo, the zoo that comes to you, and Dalston-based Jordyn Louise Dance, who returned for a 2nd year, along with music by the Border Concert Band.

There was plenty for everyone on 10th August at the Dalston Show, and we were thrilled to see so many of you on the show field.
